ENG (0122) 357 - Reading Gender and Sexualities

Students will consider recent works of gender and queer theory to develop a critical vocabulary for reading literature and culture.  They will also read a variety of literature across periods and genres to examine what these texts reveal about contemporary and historical conceptions of gender and sexualities.

Prerequisite 1: ENG 250  or SOC 241  or PHI 270  or POL 345
