The M.S. in Computer Science prepares candidates for an advanced career in cybersecurity or software engineering. Students may choose a specialization in Cybersecurity or Software Engineering.

 

Requirements for the Master of Science (M.S.) in Computer Science


Required minimum GPA: 3.00

Credits Required to Graduate: 30-42

Computer Science Foundations


0-11 credits

Some or all CS Foundations courses may be waived by the Program Director, depending on the  candidate’s prior learning.

Computer Science Electives


15 credits

Students may either choose an elective specialization, or  select their own classes. When doing the latter, program director approval is required.

Computer Science Capstone


3-4 credits
