• HED (0834) 750 - Community Health Education: Planning and Implementation Credits: 3.00
• HED (0834) 751 - Fieldwork Internship in Community Health Education Credits: 3.00
• HED (0834) 550 - Social & Cultural Issues in Health Education Credits: 3.00

Electives

(12 credits)

Any HED or PED courses pertinent to the area of community health promotion and/or education upon adviser’s approval.

Notes

• The number of credits required in the certificate program is 28; however, a student may be exempted from up to 9 credits, depending on previous graduate experience.
• Certain courses may be waived at the department’s discretion and replaced by electives approved by the department.
• Before starting the program, students may be able to transfer up to 6 credits of non-Adelphi graduate level coures and up to 9 credits of Adelphi graduate level courses to the program upon adviser’s approval, not to exceed 9 total credits transferred.
