In addition to the above requirements, students will select from the department’s 200- and 300- level literature (i.e. non-workshop) offerings to complete the Explorations portion of the Major. Of these 6 credits, at least 3 credits must be a 300-level “Literary History” or “Critical Perspectives” literature course. Students may request approval from the chair for a class from outside the major to count as an English elective.
