Students explore dimensions of leadership roles, identify attributes, knowledge and skills required to fulfill the role, approaches to leadership, conduct self assessments, and create a professional development plan. Mentoring affords opportunities to cultivate requisite interpersonal skills and obtain help in overcoming barriers preventing students from exercising leadership.
