Spring 2024 Update [ARCHIVED CATALOG]

PHY (0156) 243 - Introduction to Electrical Engineering

Credits: 4.00

Students will learn methods of dc circuits (superposition, node and mesh analysis, equivalent circuits, and transients), ac circuits (impedance, power in one- and three-phase systems, and Laplace techniques), and analog circuits (principles, operations, and circuits involving diodes, transistors, and operational amplifiers). Students will perform hands-on experiments related to the material.

Prerequisite 1: PHY 113  PHY 114
Repeatable: No Grade Type: Regular or Pass/Fail
