The Public Health Graduate Certificate Program is designed for individuals who have obtained a bachelor’s degree and may be seeking career advancement, skill enhancement, or a transition into public health roles. Students will have an opportunity to explore the field of public health and enhance their public health knowledge by completing these four 3-credit core courses required of MPH students without committing to a graduate degree program: Principles of Public Health Practice; Social and Behavioral Issues in Public Health; Application of Human Disease in Public Health Practice and Principles of Epidemiology. The courses can be completed online within one year. Students who successfully complete the certificate program and meet other requirements are eligible to take the Certification in Public Health (CPH) exam, the only professional certification in public health.
