This degree prepares students for work in the finance industry, as well as, for positions in the financial operations of corporations and non-profit organizations. Reflecting the new global economic and financial environment, the curriculum provides an understanding of perspectives that form the context for business and finance through coverage of ethical and global issues, and the influence of political, social, legal, regulatory, and technological issues.

Requirements for the Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Finance
Required GPA: 2.3 Credits Required for Major: 77 Credits Required to Graduate: 121 The finance major leads to the B.S. by successfully completing 121 credits of course work, consisting of 31 credits of General Education requirements , 13 credits of liberal arts requirements, 47 credits of pre-core, business core and capstone course requirements, and 30 credits of advanced finance courses and finance-related quantitative courses.
