Computer Science Education, Minor (non-certification)

This program is only for students enrolled in the School of Education’s Adolescent STEP program. Students who complete this will learn all the elements that are required by the New York State Education Department for teaching Computer Science in Pre-K through 12th grade. It does not guarantee certification or a passing score on the New York State Teacher Certification Exam (NYSTCE). 

Required: (20 credits)

Consultation with the Math and Computer Science Chair and/or STEP Director is required to enroll.
