The Adelphi English Language Institute (AELI) offers 2 English language program options:
- General English - a free-standing language program designed for students interested in improving language skills, not connected to a degree program.
- Pre-Sessional English - English language preparation for students who are applying to a degree program but do not meet the minimum English score requirement for the accelerator programs.
Students in both programs study English coursework only.

General English
The program ranges from 8 weeks to one year depending on student preference. Pre-Sessional English
The program ranges from 1-term to 3-terms depending on English language level. Students must meet a 5.0 IELTS equivalency to move into the Undergraduate Accelerator Program or a 5.5 IELTS equivalency to move into the Master’s Accelerator Program. |
