In addition to the above requirements, students will select from the department’s 200- and 300- level offerings to complete the Explorations portion of the major. Of these 9 credits, at least 3 credits must be a 300-level “Literature in Context” or “Critical Perspectives” literature course. Students may request approval from the chair for a class from outside the major to count as an “Explorations” class. Courses may include the following: Literature Capstone Seminar (3 credits)
