The goal of this program is to provide alternative teacher preparation for current classroom teachers seeking initial certification in 7-12 Students with Disabilities (SWD) Generalist. Eligible applicants will have a Bachelor’s Degree in a related subject area and/or meet distribution requirements. Applicants for the Master’s Degree in Adolescence Students with Disabilities 7-12 Generalist Transitional B must not have prior NYS certification.

Eligible applicants will have a Bachelor’s Degree in a related subject area and/or general education requirements. Applicants for the Transitional B Master’s Degree in Adolescence Students with Disabilities 7-12 Generalist will not have prior NYS certification.
