In consultation with an adviser, student should select an English class at the 200, 300, or 400 level. With the approval of the Chairperson of the Program in English, a course in a related discipline, such as history, philosophy, theatre, etc.), a relevant Study Abroad class (such as Adelphi in Florence: Experiencing the Italian Renaissance or Experiencing London Theatre ), or an English internship (if taken for three credits) may be used as an English elective.
