The purpose of the program is to prepare students for staff accounting positions in both business and non-profit entities. Course work in this certificate program will help in meeting the prerequisites for the MBA program with accounting specialization at Adelphi. The program is designed for completion by part-time adult students taking courses in the evening. Due to the sequential nature of the accounting courses, students can complete the certificate in six semesters or three years. The courses in this certificate are offered in the evening to meet the needs of working adults.
