CR-ITI program is a 15-credit (5 graduate-level courses) program leading to an advanced certificate in TESOL. Each year 20 candidates will be recruited among the teachers in various NYC DOE and Long Island districts. Each candidate will work with a mentor teacher from the same school throughout the program.

Note: Candidates are required to complete 12 credits of a language other than English for TESOL certification, and take the following New York State Mandated Seminars in Child Abuse, Violence Prevention, 0801-697 Dignity for all Students Act (DASA) training, and pass the NYSTCE Content Area Exam CST (ESOL).
