1. Required and elective courses listed above are for students seeking professional certification in health education. Students will be reviewed as to their experience and course work. Where they have adequate course work at the undergraduate level, they will be waived from that requirement and allowed to take additional electives at the advanced level in health education or in related fields, such as community health, exercise science, nutrition, environmental health, or physical education.
