Explore and evaluate current theoretical debates over the prehistoric colonization of North America. Learn how subsequent generations of Native Americans spread and adapted to diverse environments, faced drastic changes in climate, and eventually developed civilizations. In the laboratory students will work with archaeological collections and gain expertise in the use of the most recent analytical techniques in New World archaeology.
