Students will focus on the contribution of social and behavioral sciences to understanding the distribution, etiology, and solutions of public health problems. Cultural/ethnic diversity is addressed as factors contributing to aspects of public health problems and interventions. Theoretical underpinnings are illustrated in applications to health promotion and disease prevention.,,
