ART (0104) 397 - Intro to Web Design Concepts and Technologies


Credits: 3.00

This course is an introduction to responsive design and user-friendly interface. Students will explore interactive design thinking through wireframing, interface design, visual design theory, and prototyping to design seamless user experiences. Students will work with industry-standard applications, including Figma, Visual Studio Code, and GitHub.

Repeatable: No Grade Type: Regular or Pass/Fail
Course Learning Goals: • Demonstrate basic industry-standard web design practices through error-free code;

• Use Figma to establish UI design systems, build wireframes, and design prototypes;

• Use a text editor to turn your Figma designs into live, working products with HTML and CSS;

• Deploy/publish a static website/web app; and employ useful tools and tricks for developing and debugging markup
