ART (0104) 190 - Introduction to Visual Art

Students will examine and challenge common assumptions about art and design. Ancient and contemporary art histories will be discussed as they are considered for their aesthetic, technical, and cultural relevance as students build a “portfolio of ideas” about art, its societal role, and the processes by which it is made.
