ANT (0103) 112 - Biological Anthropology


Credits: 3.50

In this course students learn the scope, methods, and theories of biological anthropology.  Students examine human evolutionary biology, primate behavior, paleopathology, and assess historical taxonomies of “race” in relation to contemporary human biological variation.  Laboratory activities support the exploration of genetics, skeletal biology, comparative morphology, pathology, and human behavioral patterns.
