This course presents the scientific concepts and methods available for the evaluation of the nature of environmental problems, the physical aspects of these problems, the available potential technological solutions, and limitations of current conceptual and analytical knowledge. Topics include: renewable and non-renewable energy, biodiversity, land degradation, water and air pollution.
