ENG (0122) 493 - Research in Literature


Credits: 1.00 - 3.00

Students will perform research in English, either working on their own projects or projects for faculty members of the department. This could include but is not limited to: finding, reading, and analyzing secondary literature reviews; researching manuscripts. Students will provide written evidence of their research processes.

Prerequisite 1: ENG 250

Course Learning Goals: Students will work with an individual faculty member to either assist that faculty member with their research project or to work on the student’s own research project. Skills learned will depend on the research that the student is doing. This may involve researching, analyzing, and annotating secondary literature, researching, analyzing, and annotating primary literature, and writing up the results of that research.
