Students will examine the role of the nurse as a communicator and provider of patient, staff and peer education in interdisciplinary settings. Students examine the impact of educational and communication theories and policies on patient outcomes utilizing evidenced based research. Effective communication strategies essential for communication and teaching are actualized.
