NUR (0302) 387 - Introduction to Professional Nursing Practice

Students will explore and discuss the profession of nursing and the roles of the professional nurse in the changing healthcare environment. The nurse patient relationship, professional values and ethical behavior, and effective inter-professional communication are emphasized.

Prerequisite 1: NUR 233  and NUR 232  and BIO 208   and BIO 210  and CHE 109
