Independent research in entrepreneurship. Supervised readings, frequent consultations with the faculty advisor, and a substantial written project embodying the semester’s work.

Course Learning Goals: The pros and cons of an entrepreneurial career are explored. Students learn the importance of making personal trade-offs to cope with uncertainty, failure, and success. The evolution of organizational structure in the entrepreneurial firm and the stages of venture development are emphasized. Fostering the entrepreneurial and creative spirit of the large and small organization is a focal point. Entrepreneurs present their success stories throughout the course.
