Students will apply management and leadership skills which help them in their field work
experiences and throughout their careers as dietetic professionals. Students will have an
opportunity to share their field work experiences and learn from their peers. This course is
for Majors only and will be taken every semester.

Course Learning Goals: Upon completion of this course students will be able to:

COURSE OBJECTIVES:

1.Apply management principles in field work experiences.

2. Employ appropriate risk management strategies for nutrition care clinics.

3.Effectively utilize nutrition software and electronic medical record systems.

4. Analyze appropriate data in electronic format to make best decisions related to nutrition and diet.

5. Identify new nutrition innovations including services, products, informatics and interventions.
