PHI (0154) 360 - Philosophy of Religion

Students examine the meaning, significance, and fundamental problems of religion from a philosophical perspective. Problems examined include: whether faith and reason conflict, the basis and limits of religious knowledge, the coexistence of a benevolent God and evil in the world, and the possible conflict between human freedom and divine providence.
