Examine the fundamental processes and mechanisms of development, including gamete structures, fertilization, cell movement, migration, shape change, establishment of embryonic and adult body plans, the role of differential gene expression, and the interactions among genes, cells and the environment that occur during development. Lecture and laboratory.
