Students will explore how blockchain technology, smart contracts, and cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin work. Students will examine the history, technology, communication, economics, security, laws, and risks related to the crypto space along with what the future might hold.

Understand what blockchain is, how it relates to Bitcoin, and what other useful applications it has.
Learn how to navigate the rapidly evolving world of cryptocurrency, including how to buy, trade, sell, and spend cryptocurrency.
Analyze the controversies, risks, and legal issues surrounding cryptocurrency.
