MUA (0195) 131 - Diction for Singers

Students will learn the basics of diction in the primary languages of sung repertoire: English, Italian, French, and German. Students will develop techniques for the clear enunciation of texts in the languages as sung. Students will learn the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) and its application to these languages.
