DSC (0207) 473 - Optimization, Visualization and Text Analytics

Students will learn about three critical components of Business Analytics. First, students will learn how to create charts, maps and other visualization object according to data characteristics. Second, students will learn how to simulate stochastic scenarios using Monte Carlo simulation. Finally, students will acquire basic concepts in text analytics.

Prerequisite 1: DSC 272
Students will identify and describe business performance indicators in visual terms
