SPE (0876) 100 - The Speech,Language and Hearing Professions

The purpose of this class is to acquaint students with the professions of speech-language pathology and audiology. A variety of communication impairments are discussed and examples of assessment and intervention techniques are reviewed. Field trips to several facilities allow students to observe individuals with communication impairments.
