American business and industry are becoming increasingly aware of the degree to which an organization’s success depends on efficient and effective management of its employees. The Advanced Certificate in Human Resource Management has been designed to provide managers and human resource professionals with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to enhance their organizations’ performance.

The Advanced Certificate in Human Resource Management (ACHR) is open to any student with a bachelor’s degree or higher in any discipline. Please contact the Graduate Program Office at (516) 877-4670 for admission requirements.

This certificate can also be earned as part of the M.A. in General Psychology with a Concentration in Human Resource Management .

Please note that the student who has completed the course requirements must submit a specific application for graduation for the Certificate in order to receive the certificate and have it recorded on their transcript. This separate application is required even if the student submits an application to receive a Masters degree at Willumstad School of Business or Derner.
