General Education Requirements
All students must satisfy the University’s General Education requirements and foreign language requirements, in addition to the requirements for the major in political science. Requirements for the Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science
Required GPA: 2.0

Credits Required to Graduate: 120

All graduating majors must have earned a 2.0 minimum GPA in Political Science courses. The Pass/Fail option cannot be used to meet department requirements for a political science major except for a maximum of 9 credits of internship work. Students can transfer a maximum of 9 credits toward the political science major from other accredited institutions. This includes study abroad. For departmental honors, a 3.5 minimum GPA is required, plus a seminar with a grade of “B” or better. Degree Map
