The 4+1 BA in Mathematics and MS in Applied Mathematics and Data Science allows students to pursue a holistic liberal arts education while obtaining in demand, cutting edge, advanced skills in applied mathematics and data science.

Requirements for the Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Master of Science in Applied Mathematics and Data Science (B.A./M.S.)


Required GPA: 3.0
Credits Required for B.A.: 120
Credits Required for M.S.: 30

Complete the Mathematics, B.A.  requirements followed by the following graduate courses.

(6 Credits)

Graduate coursework that can apply to both the B.A. and M.S. degree


Up to nine credits of graduate coursework can apply to both the B.A. and M.S. degree.

Graduate courses in MTH, MTP, or CSC chosen with consultation of advisor.
