Advanced Certificate in Early Childhood Special Education


This program leads to certification in Students With Disabilities Birth-Grade 2 and to a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (C.A.G.S.); it does not provide a degree. The program is intended for candidates who already hold a valid New York State teacher certification in early childhood, have a master’s degree (needed for professional or permanent certification), and are seeking additional training and certification.

Program Pre/Corequisite: EEC 600 , or the graduate or undergraduate equivalent within the past 5 years, with a grade of B or better.
