PHY (0156) 456 - Quantum Mechanics I I

This course will explore advanced topics in quantum mechanics, including: quantum dynamics with emphasis on the path integral formulation; formalisms using group theory; density operators and mixtures; entanglement and Bell’s inequality; symmetries and conservation laws; scattering and the Born approximation; relativistic quantum mechanics; and an introduction to quantum field theory.
