SPH (0878) 636 - Dysphagia: Evaluation and Management

Students will examine the anatomy and physiology of normal and disordered swallowing in the adult population. The assessment and treatment of dysphagia including evidence-based treatment approaches will be reviewed. Ethical considerations, documentation and insurance coverage are discussed as well as the importance of education with family and other professionals.
