The student will learn about the fragmentation and conflict brought about by the contemporary process of globalization. The course involves simulations- using ICONS–to provide a deeper understanding of the broad economic, political, environmental and cultural divisions engendered by globalization, and the underlying causes of opposition to and support for it.
