Ideas leading to Quantum Mechanics, Schrodinger’s equation in time-independent and time-dependent forms. One-and-three-dimensional solutions of bound-state eigenvalue problems; scattering states, barrier penetration; the hydrogen atom; perturbation theory. Quantum mechanical Description of identical particles, symmetry principles, multi-electron systems.
