This course is designed as an introduction to the art form known as Theater. Students will learn about the origins of theatre, understand the different roles it has played throughout history, learn about why we do theater, and what the fundamental elements of theatre are. The course will also delve into some of the earliest known works of theatre (plays) and how theater has evolved over time.
