SWK 690 comprises the first half of a yearlong 450 contact-hour practicum completed during the first year of the M.S.W. program. The practicum provides the experiential component of social work education in which students work directly with clients in a social agency under professional social work supervision. There is an emphasis on developing generalist skills for work with individuals, families, groups, and communities.

Free Note: Students will be responsible for completing a 15 hour per week site-based practicum.
