The trauma of origin, the trauma of the journey, and the trauma of settlement, particularly for undocumented persons, will be explored. Using frameworks from social theory, trauma theory, and psychoanalysis, as well as video and text narratives, the possibility of recuperating the subjectivity of the vulnerable migrant will be explored.
