MUA (0195) 416 - Instrumental Conducting

Students will explore the art of conducting instrumental ensembles of all types. This will include the refinement of conducting movement and technique; appropriate use of cues; establishing and maintaining tempo; application of rehearsal techniques, reading, studying, and preparing scores; and interacting with musicians of all ages from the podium.
