EAS (0112) 410 - Environmental and Earth Science Capstone

Students will examine an environmental topic from earth science and environmental studies perspectives. Guided reading and discussion of articles from primary literature will be incorporated. Topics will be chosen by the instructor and will vary from semester to semester.

Course Learning Goals: At the end of the course, students will discuss past, present, and future conditions surrounding a topic within the fields of earth science and environmental studies; conduct literature searches; analyze articles from the primary literature; write a well-researched review of an environmental or earth science topic; and present the topic to a broad audience.
