DSC (0207) 470 - Business Analytics Using Python

Students will learn about the application of analytics in the emerging data-driven world to solve business related problems. This course will provide students with a high-level understanding of important feature selection methods, classification methods, powerful predictive models, and popular analytical software such as Python for data analysis.

Prerequisite 1: DSC 272  
Course Learning Goals: 1. Students will identify and describe business problems in analytical terms 

2. Students will select appropriate tools and techniques to analytical problems

3. Students will use the appropriate coding and python packages to solve analytical problems

4. Students will translate tools and techniques outcomes into courses of action

5. Students will communicate solutions and courses of actions in a professional manner
