This course explores the experience of parents, siblings, teachers, clinicians and peers in understanding people on the autistic spectrum. Focus is on distinguishing the range of symptoms of ASD. We will explore current approaches to diagnoses, classification, causal theories and strategies for treatment, education and behavioral interventions.
