SPY (0504) 667 - School Neuropsychology II


Credits: 3.00

Students will deepen their knowledge on the assessment of learning and developmental disabilities and will administer a neuropsychological battery in a school setting to assess a child’s cognitive, educational, and executive functioning skills and propose remedial measures.

Prerequisite 1: SPY 665  
In this course, students will:

1. Administer and interpret select instruments (NEPSY2, K-ABC2, BRIEF) commonly used in neuropsychological assessment.

2. Conduct a full neuropsychological assessment.  

3. Make appropriate recommendations based on the child’s learning profile. 

4. Review research-based school interventions that address specific neuropsychological profiles.
