Students will be exposed to current topics of interest in statistics as the field grows. Statistics is a constantly evolving field and students will be exposed to the latest innovations in the field of statistical anlaysis.

Prerequisite 1: MTH 560
Free Note: Open only to students in the MS in Mathematics.

Students will:
●   Demonstrate an appreciation that statistics is a constantly evolving field.
●   Gain in-depth knowledge in a specific area of statistics.
●   Apply current research in statistics to various problems.
The above goals will be assessed by all course quizzes and examinations.
